NEET UG 2026: MCC publishes final stray vacancy round seat-allotment result
The Medical Counselling Committee's final allotment result for the 2026 UG stray vacancy round was uploaded on 20 October, after the result was declared on 19 October; reporting to allotted institutes runs till 26 October.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services, has put out the "Final Allotment Result for the UG Counselling Stray Vacancy Round" of NEET UG 2026 counselling, uploaded to its website on 20 October 2026.
This follows MCC's own schedule notice of 14 October 2026, which had fixed registration and choice-filling for the stray round till 16 October, with the seat-allotment result declared on 19 October. Candidates allotted a seat in this round must report to their institute for document verification and admission between 19 and 26 October 2026, after which non-reporting candidates forfeit their security deposit and are debarred from the following year's counselling.
The stray vacancy round is the last stage of the All India Quota/central-institute counselling for NEET UG 2026 MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing seats, run to fill places left vacant after Rounds 1 to 3. Candidates should check their allotment letter and reporting instructions directly on the MCC website, since state-quota counselling for vacant seats runs on separate, state-specific timelines.
