JEE Main 2027 Session 1: NTA allows a fresh application form to correct errors, due by 22 November
NTA will accept a fresh JEE Main 2027 Session 1 form from applicants who made mistakes, even after fee payment. It must be paid for by 22 November 2026, or with a late fee from 23 to 26 November.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a public notice on 30 October 2026 allowing JEE (Main) 2027 Session 1 applicants who made mistakes in their online form to submit a fresh application, even if they have already generated an application number or paid the fee.
Key points
- Only the last form for which the fee is paid and the confirmation page generated will count. If a fresh form is left unpaid, the earlier completed form stays valid.
- Each fresh form gets a new application number. All details, the photograph, signature and documents must be entered again.
- Fresh forms must be completed, with fee payment, by 11:50 pm on 22 November 2026, or with a late fee from 23 to 26 November 2026.
- The fee paid for an earlier form will not be refunded or adjusted against the new one.
- Candidates who only need to change some details should use the correction window, open from 27 to 29 November 2026, instead of filing a new form.
- Holding more than one application number is not in itself treated as unfair means, but appearing or trying to appear more than once in the same session with different numbers is.
Applicants with errors should choose between a fresh form and the correction window before these deadlines.
