UPSSSC moves PET 2026 to 25 October, 30 October and 1 November 2026
A UPSSSC notice dated 25 September 2026 changed the PET 2026 written exam from 23–25 October to 25 October, 30 October and 1 November 2026, citing unavoidable reasons. Shift timings are unchanged.
UPSSSC had announced on 9 September 2026 that the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026 (Advertisement No. 16-Exam/2026) would be held on 23, 24 and 25 October 2026. A notice dated 25 September 2026 changed these dates for unavoidable reasons.
Revised schedule
- Sunday, 25 October 2026
- Friday, 30 October 2026
- Sunday, 1 November 2026
Each day has two shifts: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The Commission said it would inform candidates separately on its website about the issue of admit cards. On 12 October 2026 it released the advance intimation of exam district, which confirms the revised dates.
What to do: note the new dates, check your allotted date and shift on the admit card once it is issued, and do not rely on the older 23–25 October schedule.
