RSSB moves CET (Senior Secondary) 2026 to 1–3 December 2026 because of local elections
In a press note listed on 28 September 2026, RSSB moved CET (Senior Secondary Level) 2026 from 23–25 October to 1–3 December 2026, two shifts a day, because local body and panchayat elections affect October exams.
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board revised its exam programme because the Rajasthan State Election Commission's urban local body and panchayati raj elections affect the conduct of exams in October 2026.
- CET (Senior Secondary Level) 2026: now 1 to 3 December 2026, with two shifts each day. The original advertisement (No. 08/2026) had fixed 23 to 25 October 2026 for this offline, OMR-based exam.
- CET (Graduation Level) 2026: 16 to 18 January 2027.
The press note, listed on the Board's website on 28 September 2026, also gives new dates for several other recruitment exams.
What to do: adjust your revision plan to the new dates. The CET is only an eligibility test: candidates who qualify must still clear separate recruitment exams for the posts it covers, such as Forester, Police Constable, Clerk Grade II and Junior Assistant.
