Rajasthan CET (Senior Secondary) 2026 notified: 120 questions, 240 marks, 40% to qualify
RSSB issued Advt. No. 08/2026 on 23 June 2026 for CET (Senior Secondary Level) 2026. Online applications ran from 24 June to 23 July 2026, and the score will be valid for three years.
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board issued Advertisement No. 08/2026 on 23 June 2026, with an amended notice on 25 June 2026, for the Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level) 2026.
- Applications: 24 June to 23 July 2026 (11:59 pm) through the SSO portal.
- Posts covered: 14 services, including Forester, Hostel Superintendent, Jamadar Grade II, Police Constable, Clerk Grade II and Junior Assistant.
- Age: 18 to 40 years as on 1 January 2027, with relaxations as per rules.
- Pattern: one paper of 120 multiple-choice questions for 240 marks in 2 hours 30 minutes, with one-third of a question's marks deducted for each wrong answer. Topics cover Rajasthan's history, culture, geography, polity and economy, Indian geography, everyday science, reasoning and mathematics, current affairs, public health, computers, and general Hindi and English.
- Qualifying mark: 40%, with up to 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
- Validity: the score is valid for three years from the result date. Scores from CET (Senior Secondary) 2024 expired on 16 February 2026, so those candidates had to apply again.
