A CAT 2026 media release dated 29 September 2026 opened a one-time edit window from 10 am on 5 October to 5 pm on 6 October 2026 for registered candidates to change their photograph, signature and test city choices.
After CAT 2026 registration closed, the CAT Centre announced a limited edit window in a media release dated 29 September 2026.
- Opened: 10:00 am, 5 October 2026
- Closed: 5:00 pm, 6 October 2026
Only candidates who had registered and paid the fee could use it, and only three fields could be changed:
- Photograph
- Signature
- Test state and city preferences
The release said no extension would be granted beyond this deadline, so application details are now final.
Next steps: admit cards can be downloaded from the official CAT website from 4 November 2026 until the test day, 29 November 2026, and will name the allotted test centre. The IIMs have stressed that the CAT website is the only official site for the exam, and candidates should report suspicious websites or payment requests to the CAT help desk.
