SSC JE 2026 Paper-I: exam city details live, admit cards 2-3 days before each exam date
SSC has opened exam city details for JE 2026 Paper-I (2 to 6 November 2026) through candidate login. Admit cards are expected 2-3 days before each exam date; own-scribe OTR mapping closes 27 October 2026, 11 pm.
The Staff Selection Commission issued a notice on 23 October 2026 for the Junior Engineer Examination, 2026 Paper-I (computer-based), which runs from 2 to 6 November 2026.
What is available now
- Candidates can check their exam city by logging in on the SSC website.
- The admit card is tentatively expected 2-3 days before each candidate's exam date, through the same login.
Scribe facility
- Scribe registration has been made fresh and is now linked to Aadhaar authentication; registrations made before 5 November 2025 were disposed of.
- Candidates who opted for their own scribe must map the scribe's OTR by 27 October 2026, 11 pm. A scribe entry pass is issued only after successful mapping.
Other points
- The 2-6 November papers cover General Engineering (Civil and Structural, Electrical, Mechanical) and IMD Scientific Assistant papers.
- The JE (Telecommunication) paper is separately scheduled for 30 November to 1 December 2026.
Civil candidates should check their exam city now and download the admit card once it is released.
