NICL AO 2026: 321 Administrative Officer (Scale I) posts, apply by 28 October

National Insurance Company Ltd (NICL) published its detailed advertisement for 321 Administrative Officers (Generalists and Specialists) in Scale I on 7 October 2026.

Important dates

• Online registration and fee payment: 8 to 28 October 2026
• Phase I (Preliminary) online exam: 17 November 2026
• Phase II (Main) online exam: 22 December 2026

The posts are split into 200 Generalists and 121 Specialists (Finance CA/CMA, Legal, IT, Automobile Engineers, Risk Engineers, Company Secretaries and Agriculture). A candidate may apply for only one discipline. The age limit is 21 to 30 years as on 1 October 2026, with relaxation for reserved categories. The fee is ₹1,000, or ₹250 for SC, ST and PwBD candidates.

Phase I carries 100 marks in 60 minutes: English Language (30 questions), Reasoning Ability (35) and Quantitative Aptitude (35), each separately timed at 20 minutes, with a qualifying mark in every section. About 15 times the number of vacancies will be called for the Main exam, which has 250 objective marks plus a 30-mark descriptive English test, followed by an interview.
