RRB ALP CEN 01/2025: postponed CBAT now on 12 November 2026, with a retest for some 30 October candidates
The CBAT postponed at four centres in Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and Delhi will be held on 12 November 2026 (third shift). Candidates hit by technical problems on 30 October may retake it the same day; the city link is due by 4 November.
The Railway Recruitment Boards issued a notice on 3 November 2026 fixing a new date for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) under CEN 01/2025 (Assistant Loco Pilot).
Postponed centres The CBAT called off on 29 October at four test centres (TC codes 9417 and 9208 in Visakhapatnam, 7954 in Rajahmundry and 30677 in Delhi) will now be held on 12 November 2026, in the third shift. These candidates must bring a vision certificate in the format of Annexure VI A of CEN 01/2025; entry will be refused without it, and the eye specialist's seal must show their ophthalmology qualification or hospital position.
Candidates hit by technical problems on 30 October After reviewing the exam logs, the RRBs are giving certain candidates at certain centres another attempt on the same date and shift. They are being told by email and need not bring a vision certificate. If they take the test on 12 November, only that attempt will count; if they skip it, their 30 October result stands.
What next The exam city and date link, with travel authority for SC/ST candidates, is due by 4 November 2026 on all RRB websites. E-call letters can be downloaded from four days before the exam date.
