RRB Group D (CEN 09/2025): NCVT marks window for Act Apprentices open from 22 to 28 October 2026
RRBs will open a modification window from 22 October (00:01 hrs) to 28 October 2026 (23:59 hrs) for railway-trained Course Completed Act Apprentices under CEN 09/2025 to enter their NCVT marks and certificate details.
The Railway Recruitment Boards issued a notice on 16 October 2026 for Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAAs) trained in railway establishments who applied under the Group D (Level 1) notification CEN 09/2025.
Who can use it: only CCAA candidates who appeared in the CBT, did not enter their NCVT marks in the online application, and gave the date of their last NCVT examination. Under the CEN, apprenticeship counts as complete only if the candidate had appeared in the NCVT examination before 9 March 2026, the last date of application.
Window: 22 October 2026 (00:01 hrs) to 28 October 2026 (23:59 hrs), on the RRB application portal. Candidates can fill in or update their NCVT certificate details and marks.
Why it matters: railway-trained CCAAs get weightage for their NCVT marks in the final merit list and are exempt from the Physical Efficiency Test. Those who do not update their details in this window will get zero NCVT weightage and will not be treated as CCAAs holding a National Apprenticeship Certificate. Requests made after the window, or through other channels, will not be considered, and the details will be checked at document verification.
