AZ-104 Azure Administrator exam content last revised 17 April 2026, per Microsoft Learn
Microsoft's official AZ-104 certification page shows its skills-measured outline was last updated on 17 April 2026, covering five domains including identities/governance, storage, compute, networking, and monitoring.
The official Microsoft Learn page for Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (exam AZ-104) lists a 'Last Updated' date of 04/17/2026 for its skills-measured content, the most recent change on record for this exam. The exam currently assesses five areas: managing Azure identities and governance, implementing and managing storage, deploying and managing Azure compute resources, implementing and managing virtual networking, and monitoring and maintaining Azure resources.
AZ-104 remains a 100-minute, proctored exam, and the certification must be renewed every 12 months through a free online assessment on Microsoft Learn rather than a full retake. The page does not list any retirement date for AZ-104 or a successor exam code; it continues to be the current path to the Azure Administrator Associate credential.
Candidates should rely on the current exam study guide linked from Microsoft Learn, since the skills outline was refreshed as recently as April 2026. Those who studied from older material should re-check the current objective domains before their exam date.
