KCET 2026: KEA publishes final third-round seat allotment results

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released the final results of the third round of UGCET-2026 seat allotment on 7 September 2026. The round covered Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science, Veterinary Science, B.Pharm, Pharm-D, B.Sc (Nursing), Yoga and Naturopathy, and allied health courses.

How the round worked

• Option entry opened at 6 pm on 31 August 2026 and closed at 6 pm on 3 September 2026. Candidates had to enter fresh options, as choices from earlier rounds were not carried over.
• After the provisional third-round results, KEA re-ran the allotment to account for seats given up by candidates who chose Choice-4, and then published the final list.

Key dates

• Fee payment (if not already paid): 8 to 10 September 2026
• Reporting to the allotted college with the seat confirmation slip: by 6 pm on 11 September 2026

Points to note KEA said requests to cancel seats would not be accepted and warned of legal action against candidates who fail to report. Its 31 August notice also states that a candidate who cancels an engineering seat after the third round must pay the prescribed fee plus a penalty of five times that fee.
