CONCOR MT and AO recruitment 2026: four answer options per CBT question; syllabus released
A corrigendum dated 6 October 2026 to CONCOR Employment Notification 05/2026 says each CBT question will have four answer choices, not five. Post-wise syllabi for MT and AO posts are also out. The exam date is awaited.
Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) issued a corrigendum dated 6 October 2026 to Employment Notification No. 05/2026, which covers the recruitment of Management Trainees (MT) and Assistant Officers (AO). Each question in the online Computer Based Test (CBT) will now have four answer choices instead of five. All other terms are unchanged.
CONCOR has also posted a separate syllabus for each MT stream (Commercial & Operations, Accounts, Accounts/Compliance, Technical, MIS, Civil, Personnel & Administration) and each AO stream (Commercial & Operations, Accounts, Technical, MIS, Civil).
As per the notification, the CBT has 100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes:
- Professional Knowledge: 50
- General Knowledge: 15
- Quantitative Aptitude: 15
- English Language: 10
- Reasoning: 10
One-quarter of a mark is deducted for each wrong answer. MT selection is through the CBT followed by a group discussion and/or interview, while AO selection is based only on CBT performance. Both CBTs are to be held on the same day in separate shifts.
Applications closed on 30 September 2026. The exam date has not been announced yet; admit cards will be issued only on the CONCOR website.
